"No I'm not nice, but that's what happens if your bored for so long.." he shrugged, smirking as he saw the dog enter. He leaned against the corner, stuffing his hand in his pockets . He looked over to Mala again, another chuckle escaping his lips. "You mean you're not enjoying this? I feel so hurt.." he murmured, giving a false hurt expression.

((That was supposed to be "jacka$$"... Lol. Stupid censoring stuff.))
Mala continued to glare. Not caring that he felt 'hurt'. "Why would I enjoy it? If you want someone who will enjoy your antics, go find yourself a conformist goth Twilight-obsessed fan girl," she suggested, disregarding his earlier admittance of liking her for being the opposite of her suggestion.

"That hurts so much more than you know.." he chuckled keeping to the wall as she said her small little speech. "But you know why I like you so..and well..you're blood isn't all that bad either..." he smiled, letting a smirk reach his lips as he shrugged his shoulders. He looked at the dog, looking at the canine with curious eyes. "I always wondered if dogs could tell what we were..."

Mala pushed her lips together, into a thin line, as he pointed out the exact thing she'd disregarded. She focused on the blood comment. "You make it sound like you could find better," she pointed out. "Why don't you?" She asked, as she reluctantly made her way back to the incessantly dinging computer... Summer wasn't a patient girl. As Dominic pondered dogs' abilities, Vertigo trotted toward him and sat, staring at him curiously--almost as if she was trying to answer his pondering. "I'd be disappointed if they couldn't, considering you have no heartbeat to be heard and no warmth to be felt," Mala commented easily as she once again tamed the incessant buzzing with a single message. She would probably regret putting Summer off so repeatedly later, but she wasn't in the mood to deal with the girl's social antics.

"Actually, I had...but I ended up draining it out.." he sighed, holding his hand out to the dog. He smiled. "Well, I'd like it better if they didn't. Then at least someone wouldn't care about what I am.." he murmured, giving a small shrug. He looked up, raising an eyebrow at the constant ringing. "That's rather annoying..."

Mala stiffened at his response. Draining it all... She shook a little bit, but tried to push aside the fear and ignore the comment. Instead, she focused on his last comment. "Yes, it is. If she wasn't such a good friend outside of the internet, I'd ignore her altogether," Mala responded. Vertigo sniffed hesitantly at Dominic's hand.. Then licked it... And proceeded to bite down on a couple of his fingers, as if testing it. Mala saw this, and instantly clapped her hands to get the dog's attention. "Ver-ti-go! NO!" She scolded, emphasizing each syllable of the dog's name. Vertigo lowered her head in shame, and laid down with her head on the floor, as if to show that she wasn't doing anything wrong. "She doesn't usually do that... It might be because her usual dog treats are ice cubes, though," she commented, not realizing how nonchalant she was being about Dominic's supernatural "features".

"Well, that's comforting.." he murmured, looking at his bitten, slobber soaked hand. I'm apparently as delicious as an ice cube. Oh, my life is complete.." he spoke sarcastically. "Do you have a napkin in here or something?" he asked, trying to shake of what ever he could.

((Google ads across the top... "Ramen Noodle Recipes" and "Denhil Ramen and Deuren". OH! That explains it. "Ramen" is in the title of the thread and the title of every post... Lol))
Mala glared at him. He didn't have to be such a downer--it was actually making her feel bad, and that bothered her even more than having a vampire in her bedroom. She pulled a box of tissues down from the top of the desk hutch--6 inches taller than herself--and handed them across the bed. "Now you're just being an ass," she pointed out, as she dropped herself on the bed in order to reach the nightstand on the other side. She set the tissues there, and sat up. On the floor, Vertigo rose her head slightly in curiosity as to what Mala was doing, but put her head back on the ground and proceeded to sniff half-heartedly at Dominic's foot.
((Ah, Romeo. My muse!))

(wait...where are the windows and everything else in the room?)

((oh, my. I'm bad at describing? =/ Uh. I'm not sure if there's more than one window, by the desk (different wall) and across from the door. Door's kind of in the corner. Computer is between door and window. Bed is next to window, with a nightstand kind of in between. Unless I said something about something at/across from the foot of her bed in the original room description, everything else--closet, dresser, other nightstand--are on the other side of the bed... There MIGHT be a window over there, I haven't figured that out yet, but if it is, it's nice and tight shut with blinds 'cause she has no reason to have light over there. =P Sorry that I wasn't clear on how I imagined the thing!! <=) ))
((Edit: To clear that up a bit, the door and the window are exactly (or almost) opposite each other, and on opposite walls. Desk is on the connecting wall between.))

(No, just wanted to make sure he wouldn't get burned again reach for the tissues...)
Dominic sighed, going to grab a tissue he wiped off excess slobber from his gnawed on hand, his lip twitching as he still felt the oozy substance on his hand. Only thinner. He clenched his fingers only to unclench them...repeatedly. He really wanted to wash his hand now. He glanced down at the dog, pointing an accusatory finger at him..or...her. "I'm not trusting you anymore..."

Vertigo whimpered slightly, and pushed her head harder onto the floor. After a moment, she sat up and released a plaintive bark that would have been a yip if she were a smaller breed. Tail between her legs, she scooted forward and dropped her head on his lap, her eyes trained on his face in what almost appeared to be a pleading expression. Mala smiled at Vertigo's attempt to regain Dominic's favor. "Verty..." Mala started, but Vertigo simply whined, refusing to remove her head from Dominic's lap.

"No, pup. You're not getting trust that easily.." he answered, crossing his arms as she shook his head on the girl. "You're adorable, but I won't bend to the will of whimpering and nudging...." he murmured, pausing as he smirked at Mala before he turned back to the dog. It would be better not to say what he thought in means of teasing. She's probably try to put him out of the window, or into the light, at least..

Mala narrowed her eyes as he smirked at her. "What's that about?" She asked, adjusting her sitting position so one knee was up and her opposite foot was behind the first. "What's so funny?" Vertigo rose her head slightly, her attention--and curiosity--captured, briefly, by her "master"'s sudden speech. After a moment, though, the big dog deemed it nothing to be concerned about, and dropped her head back on Dominic's lap to continue whimpering.

"Nothing, don't worry about it..." he grinned, looking back at the pup that had looked up, only to rest her head on his leg again after a bit of time. He stared at her for a moment, looking with a wary expression. At last,a sigh escaped his lips as he closed his eyes, raising his hand to pet the pup's head.
